Our selection process along with our selected training and ‘open communication’ culture ensures our team are efficient and effective to meet customer needs. Alto Motors have 15 staff in total. This is made up of 2 sales staff (of which Anthony is also a Manager), 3 in our parts team, 2 in office / administration (of which Eva is also a Manager), 5 technicians, 1 assistant and 1 apprentices in the workshop and 1 workshop team leader. Also 1 staff in our Karcher sales and repairs department. Oh, and we must not forget Yvonne, Anthonys mother who breezes in and keeps us up to speed with all the latest news of the day. (not usually work related) We have a commitment of training new staff by the more experienced staff to ensure valuable skills and knowledge regarding parts, technical matters and product knowledge are maintained in house.
Our technicians are fully qualified and use the latest tools and diagnostic equipment to enable quality mechanical maintenance and servicing of all Agricultural, farm machinery and implements, not to mention Construction. We have a dedicated Workshop Leader to ensure all our servicing jobs follow all internally developed processes. Our technicians are routinely trained by suppliers as new machinery and technology is updated. There are an appropriate number of experienced technicians to provide history and continuity of service and support for Agricultural Sales. There is a continual dedicated Apprenticeship program and on the job training in place, some have also received outstanding achievement awards during training.
Our 3 key Sales people can assist you with farm machinery and construction needs and pass on the benefits to our customers through their thorough knowledge of the products and appropriate experience and training (from manufacturer) of the machinery they sell. They are in direct contact with the manufacturer regarding advice and sales queries. To their advantage our Sales people also carry out mechanical activities from time to time, thereby, knowing the product more intimately. Along with new machinery there is an updated list of Used Machinery on this website. Timely and professional price quotations are available on request. Finance requirements can be catered for (please refer to Finance quote on home page).
Our Parts staff provide a comprehensive replacement parts service for New Holland, Kioti and JCB machinery along with a range of other farm machinery parts to help keep your business running. Our friendly team will respond to queries promptly and meet your requirements (or provide you with advice) within a short and reasonable time frame (often commented on positively by customers). Our staff have built up processes and strong working relationships with our suppliers over years of experience within the trade. Including the founder of Alto Motors - Elio, who incidentally can assist in completing the morning papers cross-word and solitaire. There is nothing ‘spare’ about our parts team.
We have a fully qualified and dedicated technician available for Karcher cleaning sales, advice and support. Also a a service is provided for repairs in not just the Karcher product, but an array of cleaning and spraying products and applications. Demonstrations are offered as required through appointment.
We have 2 dedicated office administrative staff who ensure the backend of our business activities are accurately and efficiently processed and accounted for. Set processes are in place to ensure all activites are carried out and deadlines met. They are available to assist with any account queries, information updates and some related procedural advice.
